How we handle personal data.
This page explains what Innovolt AS learns about you when you visit innovolt.no or write to us, what we use it for, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
Innovolt AS, org. no. 835 829 812, is the data controller. Send questions about privacy to contact@innovolt.no.
When you visit the site
The site sets no cookies, and we use no analytics or tracking tools. Everything on the page, including the fonts, comes from our own server, so nobody else learns that you were here.
Your browser sends its IP address to the server so it can show you the page. We do not keep it in any visitor log.
The Join us terminal
What you type in the terminal stays in your browser and is gone when you close the page. Nothing reaches us until you send the email yourself from your own email app.
When you write to us
When you email us, for example a job application with your CV, we see your name, your email address and what you write or attach. We only use it to reply to you and to consider your application.
The legal basis is that you have asked us to consider you for a job (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
How long we keep it
We delete applications and CVs no later than six months after we have replied to you, unless you agree that we may keep them longer. Other emails are deleted when we no longer need them to follow up.
Who handles the data for us
Our email is hosted by Proton AG in Switzerland, which the EU recognises as protecting personal data as well as the EEA does. The website runs on a server at Webhuset in Norway. We do not sell your data or pass it on to anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it, or ask to receive a copy. Write to contact@innovolt.no and we will reply within a month.
If you think we are breaking the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
